Primal Nature, installation from 2019 in Museum Rijswijk

The installation Primal Nature was produced in 2019 with the financial support of The Mondriaan Foundation and Stichting Stokroos, and it was on show in the solo exhibition Oernatuur/ Primal Nature in Museum Rijswijk (27-10-2019/ 12-1-2020). Curator was Anne Kloosterboer.
The textiles were made at the Textile Museum’s LAB in Tilburg, at all departments: Weaving, Knitting, Embroidery, Laser Cutting, Passement (Breading), Tufting. The ceramics were made during a short residency at sundaymorning @ekwc in Oisterwijk, in which I coloured the foam porcelain with pigments and oxides. This work was based on the results of the residency in 2018.
